Interpreter
An Interpreter is on a job purely to interpret oral communication between the client and non-English speaking person. They do not provide opinions. An Interpreter can not at any point write anything down for your client e.g. filling out forms. However they can interpret while you fill out the form for your client.

Translator
A translator provides translations in written form.
